Voki Avatars

Voki avatars are a fantastic way of engaging students. In previous blogs I have mentioned certain frameworks for learning design. I feel that all these frameworks would agree with the use of these avatars in a learning experience. They would be extremely beneficial to all students learning styles while giving them relevant information. Here is an example of just how they could be used.

  1. Hi Anita,

The Voki you have created would be a great 'hook' for a lesson. Learners would hear what they are learning about as well as gain some information about the topic.

    Thanks,

    Kira.

  2. Great Voki Anita
What a fabulous learning tool. Close the books and engage your students with a visual representation of their lessons. Just right for the 21st century learner.
You could use a Voki to leave messages for students on your wiki page. It can also be used to aid in instructing those who are more audio/visual learners. Voki is also a great way to get shy students involved. I love this tool and had a lot of fun creating my Voki.
    Cheers
    Deb
